Description:	We began our history as winemakers back in 1876, when the Durì residents of Prepotto began planting their first vines, going on from father to son over the years. Lorella Maion took over in 1989 and gradually increased the area planted with vines to the current 5 hectares. Our vineyards lie on the sunny hills surrounding Prepotto, in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, marly and sandy soils that are ideal for the production of excellent wines. To this day, much of the processing is done using traditional methods to ensure the goodness we pride ourselves on. With full respect for nature, the grapes are harvested by hand and arrive at the winery where the use of wooden vats for the fermentation of the reds and oak barrels for their aging help to give the resulting wines a typical Friulian feel. The winery is a member of the Schioppettino di Prepotto Producers Association, an indigenous wine, a local niche product.
