Description:	“Mandi” is the Friulian greeting that is equivalent to “hello,” is used to communicate welcome to one’s homeland and is a wish for protection and long life. In medieval Friuli they exchanged it as they met on the streets and it literally meant “in the hands of God.” Mandi expresses the authenticity of welcome and care that distinguishes territorial identity. A borderland, a crossroads of cultures where ancient vines are born caressed by the sea breeze, protected by plateaus and crossed by the emerald waters of the Isonzo River, which gives its name to the production area of wines of graceful elegance: Isonzo del Friuli DOC. Friuli Venezia Giulia is a land devoted to the production of extraordinary white grape wines. Great wines from a great land where stones are precious and vines have ancient roots from which oenological pearls are born. These wines express at the highest level their “terroir,” that magical combination of soil, climate and vine that in each wine carries, almost a signature, the unique and unmistakable expression of its area of origin.
